My Story
I spent over 8 years working in professional kitchens – from busy restaurant lines during dinner rushes to private catering for events with hundreds of guests. I've cooked thousands of meals under pressure, learned from talented chefs, and developed a deep appreciation for good kitchen equipment.
But here's the thing: despite all my training, I kept running into the same frustrating problems at home. The rice cooker that always made mushy rice. The slow cooker that took 8 hours for something that should take 2. The pressure cooker I was honestly a little afraid of.
When I first got an Instant Pot, I was skeptical. Another kitchen gadget? But after burning dinner for the third time with my old methods, I decided to give it a real shot. That decision changed how I cook at home forever.
Why I Created This Guide
I started Instant Pot Multi-Cookers Guide because I saw friends and family struggling with the same questions I had: Which model should I buy? Is the expensive one worth it? Why did my recipe fail?
There's a lot of information out there, but much of it is either too technical or doesn't come from real cooking experience. I wanted to create a resource that's practical, honest, and based on actually using these machines – not just reading spec sheets.
